Microsoft Project is the leading desktop project planning tool, and is popular with users in a wide variety of roles. Our introductory course is ideal for getting new users started, or for filling in gaps for those who have found their own way in to Microsoft Project. View the course outlines for our full-day Project training courses below. Not sure what level you need? Then assess your skills against the topics of the Standard level course.
In the Standard Level Project course you will get a thorough introduction to Microsoft Project, and learn good practice in creating project plans, including scheduling tasks and managing resources.
The intermediate Project course develops your skills in keeping your plan meaningful during the life of the project, and using it to help resolve issues when project circumstances change. It will develop your confidence in editing existing plans and making good use of the critical path.
In our Advanced Project course you will work with a scenario involving multiple projects sharing a resource pool. You will create a Master project which allows you to view multiple sub-projects. You will learn how to manage resources throughout the project’s life, create reports and views to specific requirements and export data to other applications.
