Philippa Nicholson - Managing Director.

Philippa is a qualified software engineer (CITP MBCS) and a European Computer Driving Licence Certified Training Professional. Her background includes software development in a wide variety of technical environments, and developing and delivering training in Microsoft Office products.

Her background in user training and support led to the development of the training business, with the aim of developing clients' confidence and independence in using computers. Her aim is to enable businesses and individuals to get the best return from their investment in IT, and use their equipment to benefit their business process.

Lynn Atkinson - Technical Assistant

Lynn has worked in IT for 15 years, initially in a support role then more recently in database development and website administration. Her role within Nicholson Solutions offers business administration support to clients, to help with everyday tasks crucial to smooth running of a business and streamlining procedures.

Margaret Timms - Associate Trainer

Margaret has been a trainer with Nicholson Solutions since 2007 concentrating on MS Office and has assisted with the development of course materials. She has worked within education and training for over 20 years and in particular has considerable experience in distance and online learning. She established her own company in 2004 offering bespoke Microsoft Office training to individuals including a number of “silver surfers”. Margaret is also a Business Support Specialist providing a wide range of services to small companies.

Conny Wylie - Associate trainer

Conny has worked as a freelance training consultant since 2003 providing tailored IT training, consultancy and development services for businesses and individuals. Prior to that, she worked as a staff IT trainer in Edinburgh and also a technical trainer. She has expert understanding of Microsoft Office, Project, Visio and Crystal Reports and is proficient in many other applications including Lotus Notes, Adobe PageMaker and AppleMac operating system.
Conny is as comfortable training in large organisations as she is on a one to one basis.

Lee Anne Hepburn – Associate trainer

Lee Anne is an experienced training and development professional who has been designing and delivering training to groups and individuals for 6 years.  Although IT training is her main focus, Lee Anne has also developed and delivered vocational training programmes and has had a role in qualification assessing, marking and invigilation. She joins us with an indepth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Access and is able to deliver training appropriate to the individual requirements.

Kim Richmond – Associate trainer

Kim has extensive experience of training design and delivery and has worked as an IT trainer since 1993. She has delivered training in the classroom to groups, on a one to one basis, and via Live Meeting, as well as providing support to clients either at their desk or by telephone. She has a thorough knowledge of all versions of the Microsoft Office suite as well as SharePoint and has experience of client specific software.
