The following are questions we have answered for our clients.
Create a link to another page in your site
|
This assumes that you are working with both the Files pane, and the Properties pane displayed. In the Design pane, type the words which will form the link, or click on the image which will provide the link. Now in the Properties window, click on the Point to File tool beside the Link box. You can drag this tool to the Files pane, and drop it onto the page to which you are linking. The page name will be displayed in the Link box and the link will be created.

Renaming files in your website |
If want to change the name of a page, or create a different structure by altering folders, Dreamweaver will look after the changes for you, propagating them to all references to the altered pages. To do this all you have to do is ensure you do the renaming and creating of folders from within the Dreamweaver Files pane. So avoid making changes like this in Windows Explorer, and let Dreamweaver look after carrying your changes through all the related pages.
